Inspired by Washington’s 500-mile walk to Hampton Institute, this event raises vital funds for our scholarship program. Participants walk in solidarity to honor the journey of education and perseverance.
Since 2016, we have provided college scholarships to area students. The program has grown from a single $500 award to multiple $2,000 annual scholarships for first-year students and $1,000 for second-year students maintaining a 3.0 GPA.
Recognizes community partners who align with Washington’s legacy in Health, Education, Agriculture, and Humanitarianism. We honor those who are actively building a better future for our region.
